Mandarim

Mandarin is the language used by one fifth of the world's population, becoming in the near future one of the most common languages. It is a language isolate, tonal and largely monosyllabic, tending to monosyllabism mainly in the written variant, whereas in the spoken variant dissyllabic and polysyllabic words are used.

Taking into account the basic role played by Chinese characters in oral and written communication and understanding of Chinese culture and mentality, the combination of character learning, the approach to life themes and everyday activities is highlighted in the teaching process. Mandarin courses taught at Language School follow the guidelines of the Confucius Institute and are organised by learning levels (grouped in 50-hour blocks).
Our trainers are native Mandarin speakers.
